Ollie and Rockets!

I just checked this new trailer for The Sims 4. It looks very much fun, I love the way we can customize our sims, which will probably mean no more custom sliders. Not to put the creators down or anything, because the creators of custom sliders for the sims 3 are wonderful and provided and continue to provide us with tools with which we can make our sims look beyond our expectations. But the idea of not adding sliders to the game sounds cool to me, it all means less CC into the game and more space for other things. I know I have had to deal with not having enough space for the game, and so on, so I’m looking forward to a game that has almost everything we need (at least all the basic things we need for sims creation) Hopefully it will bring features like the ones The Sims 3 has at the moment. I hope there aren’t any set backs. All in all, it looks like it will be fun to play. I’m sure I will be playing, but I will still wait for CC to be created, at least skins and eyes, some hairs… yep, I’m a CC junky. ^ ^

Open For Business—YES!

So looking around the simsphere I found they have started a petition for Open For Business from sims 2 to be the next expansion pack for The Sims 3.

With The Sims 4 almost at our doors, what do you guys think about his? Personally, I loved OFB in sims 2; it was my favorite along with Seasons. In fact I would have preferred OFB before University Life, however, University does have its advantages. And wouldn’t we just love ALL OF THEM? I mean, all come with nice CC and all…okay, so I did signed the petition because, despite the fact that some time during next year I will eventually purchase my Sims 4 base game and play it a little, or maybe a lot (anything can happen) I still want to enjoy The Sims 3 a bit more. I will be playing sims 3 far longer than I played sims 2!!

Here is to playing sims 3 until 2015 comes!

If you are interested to know the details of the petition and all the ideas, visit this page in the sims 3 forums: Open For Business

The Big News

That wasn’t so big after all, since we all knew it was coming right?

Yes, The Sims 4 will be released in 2014 as most of you might already know. I don’t want to rant about it, because I think is pointless to do so, I just want to give out my thoughts and see who else is interested or not among my simmer neighbors. ^ ^

Alright so the news was out yesterday through a conference video “thing” that The Sims 4 is going to be released some time in 2014, and that it has many cool features that our lovely Sims 3 doesn’t have. That is a given since I figure the only excuse they have to yet release another sims game is because they would be offering new tools and features for us to explore. However I think that so far I haven’t heard anything too amazing, aside from the worlds being able to be personalized in game (I’m thinking is something beyond buydebug and placing lots) this is one of the major drawbacks of Sims 3, that you cannot add new roads and change the lots size in game.

There is a picture circulating around with three quirky sims that look rather too cartoonish for it to be anything better than Sims 3. I’m thinking there will be new expressions, and interactions. But I remember when I first bought Sims 3, I thought that aside from the look of the sims (graphically) which was really nice compared to Sims 2, there was nothing very different about them. However, The Sims 3 really was a major jump from The Sims 2. I mean, it literally had super cool new features to offer and I was not -in the least- sad to part from Sims 2. I have to admit, with the news of The Sims 4, I am a little sad that simmers will in time forget Sims 3.

What do you think?

PS: Just read that NRaas will not be modding for The Sims 4. Now, THAT, is sad news ha, ha, ha, ha.

Milkshape and Happiness…

Or viruses and losing all your files and everything you have ever worked for in your life?? … in your simming life.
I think I’ll stick to downloading poses from other people… on a lighter note, today I learned how to get my files ready for pose making, however the dork that I am had no clue I was missing one very important program. The actual program to create the poses: Milkshape.

So, what do you do when you are faced with this problem? (minor problem) you go to google and look the damn thing up. Only that, unlike the infinite amount of CC that is out there, Milkshape is not FREE and if it is, there is always the looming thread of a infestation of viruses… poor comp was barely making it through my CC obsession when I added, and added, and added and made a folder that should be no more than 2.0 GB into a 4.0 GB :O am I a dummy and this is normal or is it real that I have a CC obsession? I have no idea. Meanwhile I’ll rather not play with my comp, she is fierce, she will SHUT ME DOWN!! -_-

Either way, until I get my hands on Milkshape, I will not be attempting to make poses making poses.

But this tutorial is so freaking awesome I thought I should share it with all of you. Perhaps a bit too late for some, but I like to think that like me, there are still those simmers that have no idea what’s going on…

The Red Balloon — Oh My I’m So New To The Sims 3!

So I just found out that other very, very talented simmers create films with The Sims 3. :O

Really? I never thought it could be this good. I was about to get some CC to add to the house I’m trying to build for the chapter of my legacy and got sidetracked with this really creepy but amazing short film made by faalq… WOW. I’m speechless although this post might say the contrary hahaha.

*sigh*

Chapter for the legacy will be ready by the end of this week I’m afraid. I want to get it up more than anything, but life gets complicated. -_-
