I just checked this new trailer for The Sims 4. It looks very much fun, I love the way we can customize our sims, which will probably mean no more custom sliders. Not to put the creators down or anything, because the creators of custom sliders for the sims 3 are wonderful and provided and continue to provide us with tools with which we can make our sims look beyond our expectations. But the idea of not adding sliders to the game sounds cool to me, it all means less CC into the game and more space for other things. I know I have had to deal with not having enough space for the game, and so on, so I’m looking forward to a game that has almost everything we need (at least all the basic things we need for sims creation) Hopefully it will bring features like the ones The Sims 3 has at the moment. I hope there aren’t any set backs. All in all, it looks like it will be fun to play. I’m sure I will be playing, but I will still wait for CC to be created, at least skins and eyes, some hairs… yep, I’m a CC junky. ^ ^
This is the challenge for which I wrote the story Jensen and the Ghost of Jourdan. The story I have already told you guys I will be posting here after editing the chapters.
Check out the challenge here!
Basically this challenge is to have six stories connecting each one by one character, and not repeating it. For example, the first story must be connected to the second by one character but this character cannot be in the second story more than one time and it cannot be the one character to connect the second to the third, it must be another character from the second story. And like this, all the stories should connect until the last story.
My first story is Jensen and the Ghost of Jourdan.
Jensen became an orphan twice in his young life. His adoptive parents died in a mysterious car accident for which he was the sole survivor. Now his life means nothing to him, and although he is under the care of an aunt, he sees nothing good out of his life. But that all changes when he meets a peculiar woman, who claims she has come from the future to save him from himself.
I hope everyone is having a nice summer, with lots of ice-cream, and beach outings involved because it is dammmmmmmmmnd hot. But I’m not here to talk about weather, although it truly brakes the ice when someone has something important and equally embarrassing to say.
Before this blog I used to have a blog with another simmer. For reasons that don’t even come to matter at the moment we fell apart, and I started this blog. I had written a story for that blog and I had actually completed the first part of the story. As I created my new blog (this one) I thought it would be complicated to bring the story over to this blog, and all the paraphernalia that follows with it. However, that other blog will be closing soon as it is my understanding and I decided to bring the story over to this blog.
In order to continue the story I need the sims and whatnot, which I sadly lost (not all but some and very important ones) so I have to create new sims, which brings me to say I’m a bit happy about that since I wanted to edit this story and elaborate more on it. It was written in a hurry most times, and it is a very complicated story as it deals with time travel. Anway, blah, blah… I will be editing the story to fit the new sims and lots I will create for it, but the overall idea of the story won’t change, just a bit of it’s content.
Some simmers that read me now, also read this story. But I believe most of my readers haven’t. Hope you guys give it a try. 🙂
